I buy it in a coil and sell it by the fathom if you ask, by the foot if you insist. Heat-sealed nylon is for a trailer. On a boat the end should be whipped with waxed twine so it can be spliced later. If you want me to splice an eye, leave the boat's measurement, not a guess from the parking lot.

The seiner took forty feet. There is still most of the coil. Come before noon if you want the same lay.
